Escape from Tarkov and mods

Single Player Tarkov (SPT)

SPT is a EFT that allows you to play offline and customize your experience. I used a few mods that will be detailed below.

For more details, consult SPT’s installation guide, it is easy to install. To find mods, visit the SPT Forge. I used SPT 3.11.4, the version most suited to the mods I needed to use.

Caution

Make sure to check if the mods you want to use and the SPT version you want to use are compatible. The mods listed below are compatible with SPT 3.11.4.

When registering a new profile on SPT, you can choose the SPT Developer profile, which gives you a character with the maximum level, a large supply of money, and a balaclava that makes you invicible.

Terkoiz’s Freecam 1.4.6

Terkoiz’s Freecam allows you to toggle a free camera to explore Tarkov. You can also lock the camera and take control of your character to shoot some third-person scenes.

The camera controls, accessed by the F12 menu, include camera speed and sensitivity, but not the focal length which is determined by your first-person FOV.

SamSWAT’s Time & Weather Changer 1.0.0

SamSWAT’s Time & Weather Changer allows you to customize the time and weather in-game, which gives you more control over what you want to capture.

The weather changer menu opens with a key you can customize in the F12 menu.

Sheepy’s Simple Season selector 1.1.5

Sheepy’s Simple Season selector allows you to customize the in-game season. Having not played EFT in a long time, I was not aware that this was even a thing, so I installed this mod to disable the “Winter” season and force the “Spring” season, which was the only choice a few years ago, and feels more emblematic to me.

Bluehead’s AIO trader

Bluehead’s AIO trader adds three traders that sell every item in the game, which provides an easy access to every item you might need, including quest items that may not be available by other means.

Tip

In the EFT game options menu, enable the Trading intermediate screen, or you might not be able to click on the last trader.

Tarkin item exporter 1.2.0

Tarkin is a SPT modder who makes extremely funny videos on YouTube, which are made with mods and Blender.

Tarkin item exporter adds a export to GLTF option in the inspect menu for every item. This allows to easily download from the game any item that can be held in the inventory, including quest items via Bluehead’s AIO trader.

Warning

As of 2026/01, this mod is only available on Tarkin’s github for SPT 3.11.4.

To use it, inspect an item in-game (in the inventory, double left click the item) and click the export to GLTF button. The resulting files are then exported in the gltf format in User\Documents\Escape from Tarkov\ExportedGLTF.

Note

In EFT, weapons are made from differents parts, which make ripping a complete weapon from the game usually difficult.

Tarkin’s item exporter export all of the parts ot the inspected weapon at once, which is incredibly useful !

You can then move then files wherever you want. To load it in Blender, click on File/Import/GLTF 2.0, find your gltf file and click on Import GLTF 2.0.

You might notice that in addition to the mesh, a lot of empty objects (displayed as crosses) have also been imported. They are used to position the in-game objects (camera, hands for in-game animations). They were not needed for what I was doing, so I deleted them with the process described in the Weapon models section.
